Awareness Campaign at the Orissa University for Agriculture and Technology (OUAT)
KIIT TBI conducted its first dissemination program as an awareness campaign at the Orissa University for Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). As agriculture is the major source of revenue for India, we decided to tap that sector first. The program was attended by the students doing their post graduation in agriculture and with some creative ideas which could become potential enterprises.
The second dissemination event was conducted for the women of the village of Chikiti where the real empowerment is supposed to happen. The women where explained the concepts of entrepreneurship and we help them set up the first all women enterprise for manufacturing sanitary napkins.
The last dissemination event was conducted in February in the premises of out external stake holders (FM University), which was attended by the in house students as well as students from other colleges. The fundamentals of Idea to Impact were elucidated in that seminar.
